We're excited to announce a significant update that brings you the ability to create custom changelog templates tailored to your needs. This feature, available for Pro and Team users, allows you to build templates using Liquid templating, giving you complete control over the HTML and CSS.
You can now create, edit, and preview your custom templates, making it easier than ever to align your changelog with your brand identity.
New Features
The introduction of custom templates means you can now design your own changelog pages with unique styling. This includes the ability to use custom HTML for both the main page and entry pages, as well as custom CSS, which can optionally be compiled using Tailwind CSS.
This level of customization ensures that your changelog can reflect your brand's personality and aesthetic.
Enhancements to User Experience
In addition to the custom templates, we've made notable enhancements to the Bulletin template.
Users will now see five entries per page instead of ten, making it easier to navigate through updates. The entry pages have also received a makeover, featuring a hero section that matches the main page, and the content is displayed in a styled box that aligns with the overall design. A new success toast notification will appear in the bottom right corner when actions are completed, providing instant feedback to users.
Documentation has also been updated to include detailed guidance on creating and managing custom templates. This resource is designed to help you get the most out of this new feature, ensuring a smooth transition into using custom templates.
With these updates, we hope to empower you to create changelogs that not only deliver information but also enhance your users' experience and engagement.
