## What's New
We've introduced a key improvement in how version numbers are calculated. Version increments are now based on the most recent changelog entry, ensuring that manual changes are respected. This means users can expect consistent versioning, enhancing clarity in project management.
Additionally, repository management has been refined. Plan limits now only count owned repositories rather than team-shared ones, allowing users to participate in Team plan repositories while retaining their own Free or Pro accounts.
## Improvements
This update also includes enhancements to how empty repositories are handled. If a repository has no commits, users will receive a helpful message rather than encountering an error, guiding them to take the right steps to generate a changelog.
Furthermore, repository slugs now follow a `owner-repo` format, which prevents conflicts when different users or organizations have repositories with the same name. This change facilitates better organization and accessibility for users managing multiple projects.
## Bug Fixes
We have addressed a critical issue in the FetchReleaseDataJob, ensuring that jobs handle empty repositories smoothly. This fix provides a more user-friendly experience, eliminating confusion and offering clear communication regarding the status of repositories.
