v1.3.64

Sitemap Updates and New Pages Added

Feature Content Backend

In this update, we have made valuable changes to the sitemap structure to enhance user experience and improve content discoverability.

The main sitemap has been converted into a sitemap index format, which helps better organize and serve different sections of our site to search engines while keeping user's changelogs intact and crawlable.

New Sitemap Features

We've added a dedicated /sitemap-pages.xml that specifically lists our primary site pages as well as a /sitemap.xml for all user generated sitemaps to ensure user content gets indexed. This addition allows for a clearer representation of important URLs, making it easier for search engines to index all the content created using AutoChangelog effectively. Here are some highlights of what’s new:

  • The main sitemap now serves as an index, excluding user changelog entries, which will have their own dedicated sitemaps.

  • New entries for the homepage, static pages, and documentation articles have been included in the sitemap.

  • Users now benefit from a proper sitemap.xml that automatically updates as new changelog entries are published.

These updates not only streamline the sitemap but also ensure that users can find and access information more efficiently. By categorizing content in this way, we aim to enhance the overall usability of our documentation and project details.
