What's New
We've added the ability for Pro and Team plan users to password-protect their changelogs. This feature ensures that sensitive updates remain secure and accessible only to those who have the password. Project owners and team members can bypass this requirement, making it easier for teams to collaborate.
Additionally, we've implemented a unique visitor tracking system. This enhancement allows projects to count unique visitors rather than just page views, providing more accurate insights into engagement. This tracking is done in a GDPR-friendly manner, ensuring that user privacy is respected.
Furthermore, when accessing changelogs via a custom domain, entry URLs now feature a simpler format. Instead of displaying the full owner and repository path, URLs will appear as just the entry slug, offering a cleaner and more user-friendly experience.
Improvements
We've refined the changelog interface by updating the password entry page with a clean design that enhances usability. Password requirements have also been clarified, ensuring that users know the criteria they must meet when setting a password.
Moreover, we've made it easier for users to identify projects that are password protected by adding visual indicators on the repositories page. This makes it clear which changelogs require a password before access is granted.
