We've introduced a new validation feature that checks customer IDs during the checkout process. This ensures that if a customer ID from a test environment is used with live mode keys, the system will handle it appropriately by clearing invalid IDs and creating new ones as needed. This improvement helps in providing a smoother transition for users moving from testing to live transactions.
Additionally, users with existing Stripe customer accounts will now see a dedicated billing dropdown in the interface. This dropdown allows current and past subscribers easy access to their plan details and the billing portal, enhancing the overall user experience. For new users who have not yet subscribed, a simplified billing link is also available.
